The CEZ’s 100 Trees Initiative is planting bare root stock in a new gravel tree bed on Friday, April 28 (Arbor Day) from 2-5 p.m. in the parking lot of CEZ office at 2171 University Ave W. (at Vandalia St.) The gravel bed will help the trees develop a healthy root system over the summer in anticipation of harvest and planting on public boulevards in the Zone this fall.

Six volunteers are needed to help unload the trees, move gravel to create spaces for the trees, and ready the bed for the summer growing season. Volunteers can sign-up online using this Sign-Up.com link or by calling 651.243.0360.
