The Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) and Saint Anthony Park Community Council (SAPCC) are teaming up once again to take part in Saint Paul’s 36th annual Citywide Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 22rd, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Individuals and groups of all ages are invited to come pick up litter exposed by the melting snow in our parks and on our neighborhood streets.
This year we are hosting two locations in the Zone (aka South Saint Anthony Park) where you can pick-up trash and recycling bags and gloves, and drop off full bags for pick up by the city:
CEZ Headquarters @ 2171 University Ave W. (corner of University Ave & Vandalia St. ) with free parking at the building.
Parking lot @ 800 Raymond Ave at Charles Street (just south of SEAL Hi-Rise and north of Charles St on Territorial Rd.)
Just look for the tent at either location to sign-in, pick up your supplies, and meet your neighbors before heading out to pick up trash.
There is no pre-registration required for this event. Just gather your friends and family and join us at any time for light work with high impact in our community. This event will be held rain or shine so dress for the weather. In the case of severe weather, a cancellation announcement will be made the morning of the event.
We look forward to seeing you there!
PLEASE NOTE: This event does not collect household items. For more information on how to dispose of household items, please refer to the Citywide Drop-off Event Page. More about this citywide effort can be found at here.
